Garden House

This award-winning project involved a 980 square foot heated addition that transformed the home’s layout and ambiance.

An existing unconditioned sunroom, laundry room and small family room were demolished to create a spacious, open area that integrates a modern kitchen, dining space and family room.  

Three large picture windows bathe the space in natural light, bringing the beauty of the outdoors inside.

A salvaged brick wall adds a unique, warm touch and serves as a striking focal point that highlights the blend of modern design with the home's charming history.

The updated space connects to a new porch with fireplace, additional seating and dining options, all with views of the family garden.

The new kitchen includes top-of-the-line appliances, bold light fixtures, marble countertops and custom cabinetry and opens wide to the family room. 

The original kitchen was converted into a pantry / laundry room with quartz countertops, custom cabinetry and hand painted tile floor. With additional refrigeration, sink, dish washer and storage, this space is perfect for prep work while entertaining.  

The original dining room was converted into a game hall / bar with custom cabinetry in a striking blue. 

To enhance the exterior, the home received a new roof, fresh paint and updated windows, ensuring a cohesive look between old and new.

The end result is a beautiful and bright open space that blends seamlessly with the existing home. We know it will be enjoyed by family and friends for many years to come!
