Classic Grace
This award-winning home, originally built in the early 2000s, underwent a major transformation to improve layout, functionality, and modernize its features. With three young children under the age of 10, the clients sought a more efficient, stylish living space while updating the home's overall design.
The remodel included a complete gut of the main level, which now features a redesigned foyer with new staircase, office, elegant dining room, family room, kitchen and laundry. The kitchen was entirely reconfigured and outfitted with top-of-the-line appliances, custom hood, and stunning 6’x9’ island paired with a matching slab backsplash.

To enhance the flow between the kitchen and family room, pocket doors were added, opening the spaces for greater flexibility. There is now a clear sight line from the kitchen island and dining space into the family room for easier family connection and entertaining.

The existing back patio was transformed into a covered porch. 16’ wide accordion doors in the family room seamlessly connect these indoor and outdoor areas.

Also on the main level, the layout of the primary suite was redesigned. An existing ½ bath was eliminated to add a second closet to the suite for both his and hers closets. The primary bath now offers a spa-like experience thanks to heated floors, steam shower, freestanding tub with backyard views, and dual vanities.

The basement was also fully gutted. Renovated with family and entertainment in mind, the space includes a kitchenette / bar with waterfall peninsula and matching backsplash, spacious family room and game room. A previously unfinished corner of the basement was converted into a home gym.

Special details within the home include custom-wrapped cabinetry in the dining room to display the family’s fine china, coffered ceiling, custom hearth and mantel in the family room, curved slat wall in the basement, and textured wallpaper in all bathrooms. A serene color scheme of grays, blues, and whites creates a calm and cohesive atmosphere that ties the entire home together.

The exterior was given a fresh look with limewash, while new windows, front door, cabinetry, and hardwood floors were installed throughout.

The end result is a beautifully updated home that is stylish yet comfortable, fit for family and entertaining.
